Phyllis Mary Little's Obituary
Phyllis Mary Little, 86, went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2022. Phyllis was born to Mary & Harry Johns in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on August 26, 1935.
She moved to Florida as a teenager in 1955 where she started her professional career in banking. Phyllis married Richard (Dick) Little in 1956 at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Fort Myers. They were active members of the church for 65 years and where 3 generations of their family married.
The simplest of pleasures brought great joy to Phyllis, from her family baseball games, cheerleading and softball to the endless beach excursions. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, sewing, and volunteering. She volunteered many hours at Lee Memorial Hospital, Villas Civic Association and First Presbyterian Church.
Phyllis was a kind and gentle soul who always saw the goodness in people. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Allen Little of 65 years, brother-in-law Robert Little, adoring children Rick (Vicki) Little and Sheri (John) Sirmans, grandchildren Brian (Cassie) Sirmans, Lindsay (Tyler) Wille and Dustin (Sarah) Massey and 4 great-grandchildren Fletcher, Cyprus, Sparrow and Sawyer.
The family invites friends to attend the Funeral Service 1:00 PM, Monday, March 7, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church, 2438 Second St. Fort Myers 33901. A private family burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in memory of Phyllis Little to First Presbyterian Church, 2438 Second St. Fort Myers 33901.
