Providence Mary Lamm, 95, passed away July 6, 2011 in Fort Myers, Florida.?áShe was born April 3, 1916 in Ashtabula, Ohio to the late Joseph and Angeline (Vacca) Grippe.?áIn addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carmen; sister, Sadie; and brother, Sam. Mary came to Lee county in 1978 from Beech Grove, Indiana.?áShe was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, the American Italian Club of Cape Coral and the Moose of Cape Coral. She was a gifted artist and crafter.?áShe made exceptional art with shells, played bridge, mahjong and enjoyed ballroom dancing. She is survived by her son, Frank of Greenwood, Indiana; daughters, Mary Jo (and husband Roy) Hill of Speedway, Indiana and Anna Marie (and husband Barry) Beck of Cape Coral, Florida; brother, John Grippe of Ashtabula, Ohio; sister, Madeline (and husband Peter) Bernado also of Ashtabula, Ohio; grandchildren, Christy, Lori, Airika, Jason, Lisa and John who is serving in the US Army in Afghanistan; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.?áFuneral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.?áEntombment will follow at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.
