I just found out about Rachael's passing and I am utterly devastated! She was a wonderful loving woman who lived life to the fullest. We went to Boston to meet her family and she showed me where she grew up in Maine. She taught me how to ski when we were in California while she was stationed at Camp Pendelton. All of the good times we had I will never forget. What a beautiful soul. I wrote my first love song for her. Lukash and Baker Family I offer my complete and sorrow filled condolences.I am so very sorry for your loss. It is unfathomable to me.

My cousin Rachael was a warm sweet loving person who left us far too soon. She always deserved much better than this life offered her, but she never lost hope or gave up trying to make life better for herself and those she cared about. She bore her life's many burdens with a quiet grace and dignity, and never allowed any problems to change who she was or rob her of her warm humanity.I have little doubt that she has finally found the peace and happiness that was so very deserved, yet so elusive in this life. My heart goes out to her Mother, whom Rachael loved more than anyone else. I offer my condolences to her sisters, the rest of the family, all the many friends. Know that those of us far away are with you in spirit.

Dearest Rachael so many beautiful memories of you as a little girl growing up playing in your grand parents back yard to you being there when I had my daughter Nicole . You were a great influence on Nicole and I thank you for that ! So many memories at Christmas with mom ( aunt. Faye ) we even laughed at you almost burning down the house !!!! Rachael was a wonderful person, a loving mother, and a beautiful friend and sister. She was loved by all and will be missed terribly. Today I finished creating a scrapbook which celebrates her life. As I looked on all of the pictures, I realized that she was blessed with happy times, a loving family, and good friends. Despite the adversities that came her way, she always thought positively and maintained optimism and faith in God. I know that she understands that she was loved and had hope for a better life in the future. Unfortunately, she was taken from us too soon and I wish I could have witnessed the next phase in her life. I console myself with the fact that she is at peace and with God.

The sadness felt by our loss is over powered by the love and kindness Rachael shared with those whom she came in contact. When I think of her, I will always see her shining eyes and amazing smile. When my mom (Rachael's Grammie) was dying Rachael flew to Texas immediately to help in the care of her Gram. We spent many hours in those two weeks talking of family, love and life. Rachael showed her love to us in her selfless deeds and ongoing concern for others. May she rest in the arms of Christ her savior having no more fear and pain.Aunt NeÃ©
