Rafaela Rivera Saez's Obituary
Rafaela Rivera Saez of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday, November 7, 2021 following some recent health challenges. She was 85 years old.
Rafaela was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico on March 5, 1936, the beautiful daughter to Juana (Baez) and Eleuterio Rivera.
A Visitation for Rafaela will take place from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends and family will thereafter be escorted by the Lee County Sheriff and travel in procession to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2057 Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida 33901, (239) 334-2161 where a Mass of Christian Burial for Rafaela will be celebrated by Fr. Augustine Twum Obour at 2:00 PM.

Following conclusion of the funeral ceremony, friends and family will process under Sheriff Escort to Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Rafaela will be laid to rest alongside her departed husband Ismael inside the Meditation Garden.
