Ramon A. Franco's Obituary
Ramon A. Franco, 82, of Cape Coral, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 following an extended illness. He was born May 17, 1931 in Cuba and moved to Cape Coral from Jersey City, NJ in 1995. He was a U.S. Marine and served in the Korean War. Mr. Franco is survived by his children: Pura Franco Lane of Union Township, NJ and Carmen Franco of Columbus, OH; his companion, Reyna Lantigua of Cape Coral and her children: Janet Cruz and Gabriel Cainares, both of Cape Coral; his grandchildren: C.J. and Adrienne; his great grandchildren: Alyssa, Alexander and Madison and his sister, Pilar Franco of Jersey City, NJ. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, April 18, 2014 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
