Raymond J. Antaya, Jr., 74, of Fort Myers, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019. He was born June 15, 1945 in Fall River, MA to Raymond J. and Yvette (Boule) Antaya, and moved to Fort Myers from Assonet, MA in 2011. He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, Loyal Order of Moose and Beloved and Protective Order of Elks. He retired in 2009 from the Government Center in Fall River, Massachusetts.Mr. Antaya is survived by his wife, Jo-Ann Antaya; his children: Raymond J. Antaya, III (Dawn), Brian Antaya (Kelly), Jennifer Thorp and Kimberley Thorp (Jack); his step-children: Jerry Smith and Jay Smith (Sheila). Also surviving is his sister, Clair Antaya, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM Thursday, December 12, 2019 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 13031 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33905.
