Raymond E. Lilley's Obituary
Raymond E. Lilley, 74, of Fort Myers, Florida went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 5, 2011. Born in Shaner, PA on March 29, 1937, Ray lived in Ohio most of his life and while working at General Motors of Lordstown, he was an Auctioneer. He retired and moved to Fort Myers, Florida in 1983. He was security at the Pink Shell and continued Auctioneering. He was employed by Lee Memorial Hospital. ?áHe was a wonderful, loving and devoted husband, brother,?á?Ç£Dad?Ç¥ ?Ç£Pop?Ç¥?á “Pap” and ?Ç£GG-pap?Ç¥. Ray enjoyed playing cards, auctions, country music (especially Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty), bingo, winning at the casino and he was a bingo caller at Poinsettia Park. He always wanted to sing Karaoke in front of a crowd, and finally received his wish at Darla?ÇÖs Restaurant this year with his family and his best friends ?Ç£The Band?Ç¥. ( Mike, Terry, Jerry, Harold, Elaine, and Sonny). ?á?á?á Ray is survived by his wife Shirley, of 19 years. ?á?á?á?á His Children: Freida (Mike) Seitz of Alva, Fl, Mike (Sheryl) Lilley of Fort Myers, FL, Colleen (Orlando) Soto of Tracy CA. Don (Helen) Lilley of Urbana, OH and Penny (Jeff) Lough of Springfield, OH. ?á?á?á ?áSiblings: Sister, Ella Black of Warren, OH, Brother Charles (Teri) Lilley of Mentor,OH and sister Roberta (George) Berczik, Alva, Florida ?á?á?á His Grandchildren: Rachel, Chad, Tony, Brian, Lindsey, Lauren, Donnie, Tara, Kirsten, Ryan, Brianna, Brooke, Nichole, Brittney, Heather, Jeffrey, and 18 Great-Grandchildren. ?á Step Children: Donna Best, Fort Myers, Fl Cliff Pong, Fort Myers, Fl, Jim Lunney, MA David Pong, MA Tami Headly, Sanfrancisco, CA and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren. ?áHe also leaves behind his two ?Ç£special friends?ÇÖ-shadow and Frankie ?áRaymond is?áPreceded in death by parents Ernest and Alberta Lilley, and brothers James and Richard Lilley. Donations may be made in memory of Ray Lilley to Hope Hospice. A memorial Service will be held at Poinsettia Mobile Home Park Club House, 4701 Ballard Rd, Fort Myers, Florida 33905 on Saturday, November 12, 2011 @ 11am.
