Raymond W. Kruzick's Obituary
Raymond W. “Okie” Kruzick, 66 years of age, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on November 24, 2013 at Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral, Florida. Raymond was born November 27, 1946, a son of Helen Coyne Kruzick and the late James R. Kruzick who passed away on November 28, 1998. Raymond was employed as a driver and machine operator in the concrete products industry. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served his country proudly and faithfully from 1965-1969 and was honorably discharged with the rank of corporal. An avid motorcycle rider, his memberships included the American Legion Bikers, Ralph’s Angels Motorcycle Riders and the Fort Myers Beach American Legion. He had resided here for the past 8 years coming from Oklahoma. He leaves to cherish his memory, his fianc?? and life partner, Patricia Goodell of Cape Coral, Florida; his mother, Helen Kruzick of Plymouth, Indiana; his brother, James (Nancy) Kruzick of North Fort Myers, Florida; his nieces, Lorrie Kruzick of Kansas and Jill (Rodney) Lehman of Maryland; his great niece and nephews, Jamie Gates, Allen Gates, Ethan Lehman and Grant Lehman; He is also survived by his feline companions that adored Ray and they were very much loved by Ray. Visitation will be held Friday, November 29, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Marine Corps Military Honors.
