Dear K, I rarely buy the News-Press, but felt compelled to do so today. My heart broke when I saw your beautiful mother in the obituaries. And I did not even know that Carroll had died. I promised you once that I would be there for you when your mother died. You are in my thoughts and prayers — and if you are up to calling me, I will be there for you. Goodbye my beautiful, sweet, mother. I will miss you so much. You have left incredibly big shoes for me to fill. I will take care of all our family and your treasured fruit trees and yard. I see you everywhere and I am a better person for knowing and loving you from my first breath.
