Remiah "Emmy" Dingle Tubig's Obituary
Remiah “Emmy” Dingle Tubig, 78, of Fort Myers, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, alongside her beloved children.
Emmy was born in Pangasinan, Philippines, where she completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at the University of Santo Tomas before moving to the United States with her husband, where she raised her family in Neptune, NJ. Emmy retired from her nursing career after touching countless lives during 48 years of dedicated service. She lived on the Jersey Shore before relocating to Fort Myers.
Emmy had a charming sense of humor, and enjoyed hosting parties and gatherings with her family and friends, where laughter was always sure to fill the room. In her free time, Emmy loved shopping. She was always classy and had an eye for decorating, especially during cherished holidays.
Emmy lived for her family. After years of hard work to bring her family to the US, she enjoyed life as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Despite suffering from prolonged illness toward the end of her life, she maintained her resilient spirit and playful sense of humor. She will be dearly missed.
Emmy was predeceased by her loving husband of 35 years, Rodolfo “Rudy” Tubig; and brothers, Gedion Dingle, Oscar Dingle, Abdel Dingle and Reu Dingle. She is survived by her children, Ian Von Tubig, Elisa and husband Dennie Francisco, Jeanina Tubig, and Leah-Kimberly Tubig; her grandchildren, Karina, Katrina, Stephanie, Ruffa, Gabriel, Daniela, and Juliana; great grandson, Theo; her sisters, Elvira Gabriel, Loida Catama, and Susan Dela Piña; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in the Philippines at a future date.
