Richard L. Brittenham's Obituary
Richard L. Brittenham, 51, a lifelong resident of Fort Myers, Florida passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 28, 2023 in Fort Myers, Florida. He was born August 1, 1972 in Fort Myers, FL.
Richard was a drafter and IT manager at various engineering companies. His love for Coca Cola and Legos was only surpassed by the love he had for his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Brittenham.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Angela Brittenham of Fort Myers, FL; two children, Hugh Brittenham and his fiancé, Sydney Johnson-Scharpf of Fort Myers, FL and Hope Gabrielle Brittenham of Fort Myers, FL; Richard is also survived by his mother, Emily Mahan Henschen, resident of Ft Myers. His four siblings, John Mahan and his wife, Kelly of Cape Coral, FL, Bonnie Carlson and her husband, Joey of Eugene, OR, Justin Mahan and his wife, Nubia of Tampa, FL and Carrie Mahan of Eugene, OR; a very special aunt and cousin, Judi Brittenham and Holly Propst both of Erie, PA; as well as many extended family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday November 11 at Zion Lutheran Church, 7401 Winkler Road, Fort Myers, FL 33919.
In lieu of flowers donated to Zion Lutheran Church memorial contributions may be made to Toys for Tots in loving memory of Richard L. Brittenham.
