We were very saddened to hear of Dick's passing and extend to Ann and family our deepest sympathies. Our relationship began when Dick and Ann bought at Westbay Cove. For many years, they, together with the Mitchells Howards, Wares and Coopers became the social scene at the condominium development. Dick was also a regular on the golf circuit. Super Bowl and March Madness parties were the highlight of many winters there. Of course, Dick's love of Boston College always came through, especially when discussing colleges with Tom Mitchell, neither giving an inch. He will be greatly missed. A true gentleman!

We send heartfelt sympathies to Ann, John, Kimberly and family & friends. Our first memories were at The Wigwam in Arizona in the 80's when the kids were young, and subsequent memories revolve around golf, of course. Story telling and Richard's laugh stand out as a lasting memory of him. After moving to Sarasota 22 years ago, during 'the season' we had lovely dinners usually at The Lazy Lobster. Great memories to cherish.

West Bloomfield/Boston/Vesper Country Club. The Maloney's were neighbors in West Bloomfield during my high school years. They were very gracious in welcoming me to the Boston area when a job assignment brought me there. Richard sponsored my Vesper membership. I still have fond memories of our golfing outings.

Many good memories of Ann and Richard. One special one was back in 2002 when our daughter, Joy, was admitted to Boston College, we flew from Michigan to check out the school. Maloneys insisted we have breakfast with them near the college. And when we got to the table they were so happy to see us and brought all kinds of BC paraphernalia...banners, mugs, etc...it was wonderful. They went way out of their way to welcome us. And now today Joy is a BC alumnus just like Richard. We love you both....Eileen (Cunningham) Eckstein

I met Dick and Ann through my mother, Anne Morse, at Westbay Cove about five years ago. I hit it off with Dick immediately. It wasn't long before I gained his trust and confidence and we had a very warm friendship as well as a professional relationship. He was tender with Ann and spoke proudly of their children. It was an honor and a pleasure to know him.

We first met Dick and Ann when we first started visiting Anna Maria Island 20 years ago. I golfed many times with Dick and he was such a wonderful, friendly man always with a smile, a twinkle in his eye and a firm handshake. We will miss him.
