Richard Hugo McGarity, 87, a lifelong Florida resident passed away, Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Winter Park, FL where he had resided for the past year. He was born April 25, 1930 in Orlando, FL to Victor and Ruby McGarity, now deceased.Richard was a United States Marine Corp Veteran.He is survived by his three loving children, Karen Bochette of Rochester, NY, Richard McGarity (Stacy) of Winter Park, FL and Tracy Hadsock (Lee) of Ft. Myers, FL; 11 grandchildren, Shane, Brendan, Brittany, Ashley, Brian, Lindsay, Autumn, Savannah, Mackenzie, Landon and Garit; as well as five great grandchildren, Kasie, Tessa, Bryson, Owen and Ezra.Richard was preceded in death by his wife, June and son, Greg McGarity.A Memorial Service will be celebrated 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Ft.
