Dr. Richard Bruce Pease's Obituary
Dr. Richard B. Pease entered into the presence of his Savior and Lord on Monday, October 5, 2020. Serving over 50 years with the Christian and Missionary Alliance, Dick was a missionary to Japan for 24 years, pastored four churches in the United States including a Chinese Alliance Church. He was a professor at Nyack College, followed by becoming Academic Dean of the Alliance Theological Seminary. In his retirement years, he continued preaching, leading youth, serving as elder in The Village Church at Shell Point Retirement Community, and sharing his gift of playing the piano for church services. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor, his children Rick and Sharry, their children, Ricky, Brandon, Rachel, Donald, and Caroline and many loving great grandchildren.
Immediate funeral ceremonies are private. Arrangements for Dick’s final care have been entrusted to Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers FL 33907 (239) 936-0555
