We were neighbors with Dick and Joan on Ridgeway in Orlando since 1978 until she passed and with Dick until his move to Ft Myers. My husband Dave and son David kept in contact and shared the love of sports, auto racing and talking about Ohio. We are saddened and regret just now hearing about his passing!
I knew Richard(Dick Spears since 1995. IMet Dick at the YMCA in Dr Phillips. He was a dear friend. We spoke alot on the phone? And had breakfast every other Friday for over 20 years. I was with the 5th Special Force Group on Vietnam, I probably flew in his C130. Dick would joke about the fact, that we would drink up thier ice water on the plane.dick, you will be missed, good bye great warrior and war hero.until we meet again.
