Richard Lee Taylor passed away with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 following some recent health challenges. He was 83 years old.Richard was born on January 15, 1932 in Royalton Village, Illinois, the proud son of Ella Mae (Williams) and Daniel R. Taylor.He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Cora L. Taylor; four daughters, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.A Memorial Service for Richard will be celebrated 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Covenant Presbyterian Church 2439 McGregor Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33901, by the Reverend Dr. Jeffrey DeYoe, Senior Pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church. At the conclusion of the religious service an honor guard from Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 4174 will commemorate Richard’s service in the United States Marine Corps.In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor may be made to Hope Hospice of Cape Coral.
