Thompson Family – Very sad to hear the news of Rich's passing this morning. I actually work at the Naperville Research Center where my Dad and Rich worked for many years and developed a life long friendship. It was through a few remaining Amoco employees that still work on campus from which I heard the sad news. I have such great memories of Rich and the Thompson family. Watching the '85 Bears win the Superbowl at his home…(I remember he had the first laser printer that printed out a sports banner…it probably took 20 minutes, ha)! Rich's extensive VHS collection of movies…it was like visiting a video store! Vacationing in Sanibel and going diving for shells, sand dollars and horse shoe crabs. So many great memories…Sending nothing but love and condolences to Judy, Ricky, Kristin and the extended family…thinking of you and your family at this difficult time.
