Richie was truly a wonderful man and would do anything he could for you . We spent many nights at the track with Richie and have wonderful memories over the years of our times together at the races. Richie was such a loyal and great friend who advised me throughout my career. His infectious smile and easy going personality would always light up your day. Hard to imagine another Pepsi day without him. Rest in peace Richie.

Richie got me to come to Pepsi back in the mid 80’s. He made Pepsi a great place to work, with tremendous pride, and I’ll never forget the impact he had. I would occasionally see him at a convience store and say hi..even after all these years, he remembered me. I’m shocked to see of his passing.

We have lost a good man at a very young age. So sudden and unexpected. It makes you wonder how the Lord decides who goes when. If we believe in Heaven we know where he is going. We didn’t see much of Richie because of the distance between Florida and Illinois but we will miss him a lot because of the person he was.
Richie you had a bigger than life personality with a huge laugh and even bigger smile. Our family was blessed to know you through Racing karts the last 6 years. We were supposed to see you Saturday and had just spoken to you the day before. You were so excited to see T run. It hurts our hearts to know we will never hear “Yea Man!” OT “Get after it” again. Saturday while everyone celebrates your life. We will be celebrating you on the track. I know you wouldn’t want him to miss the race. This one is for you buddy!Lots of love to you our friend.
