Rita Ann Bischoff's Obituary
Rita Ann Bischoff of Sanibel, Florida, better known as Ann to those who knew and loved her, peacefully passed away at home on September 1, 2018 at the age of 89.Ann was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 19, 1929, the beautiful daughter to Adele Ruth (Oberbeck) and Walter John Quermann. Beloved wife of Edward “Ted” Bischoff Jr. Loving mother of Linda Menard, loving step-mother of Peggy (Ned) Purtell, Marion MacNeil, and Liza (Mike) Caputo. Proud grandmother of Carolyn, Elizabeth and Eddie Purtell, Penn, Grace and Charlie MacNeil and Isabella and Marina Caputo, Further survived by other relatives and dear friends.Ann spent her working life in St. Louis as a Real Estate Broker. Beginning in 1974, she began regularly visiting Southwest Florida as a snowbird before eventually retiring to Sanibel Island and practicing her talents as an artist.A Funeral Service for Ann will be celebrated by Pastor Bob Lockwood at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 7, 2018 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907, (239) 936-0555.
