Robert David Armour, 77, a Florida resident since 1983, formerly of Seaford, NY passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 22, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, FL. He was born in New York City, NY on October 5, 1941 to Robert and Kathleen Armour, now deceased.Robert was a retired Florida State Corrections Officer. While living in New York, he enjoyed coaching youth football at the local youth center. Robert was preceded in death by his two sons, Robert and Thomas; as well as his grandson, Raymond.Robert is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lucille Armour of Lehigh Acres, FL; two children, Kevin Armour (Susan) of Cape Coral, FL and Keith Armour of Lehigh Acres, FL; brother, David Armour (Lisa) of Seaford, NY; three grandchildren, Aubrey, Tyler and Taner (Lauren); sister-in-law, Jo Hitchens (Joe) of North Ft. Myers, FL; brother-in-law, Tony Gambino (Val) of Bonita Springs, FL; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.A Funeral Service will be celebrated 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL.
