Robert George Barrett's Obituary
Robert G. Barrett, 85, passed away June 29, 2013. He was born November 19, 1927 in Danbury, Connecticut to the late George and Edna (Gardiner) Barrett. He came to Lee County last year from Connecticut.Robert served our country in the US Marine Corps and later was a police officer in Danbury, CT for 25 years. He was a member of the VFW. He was a deeply devoted caretaker of his wife Lois for many years following an accident. He enjoyed flower gardening.Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Lois; sons, Kerry Barrett of Bethel, CT; Timothy Barrett and his wife Mary of Redding, CT; Stephen A.
