Robert Joseph Bastek's Obituary
Robert Joseph Bastek, 70, of Fort Myers, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022. He was born August 14, 1951 in Methuen, MA to Joseph Lois and Helen Francis (Doucette) Baskek who preceded him in death.
Mr. Bastek proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. During his working career, he served as a nursing home administrator. He retired in 2006 as a licensed respiratory therapist and then moved to Fort Myers from Massachusetts. He was an avid collector of vinyl record albums.
Robert is survived by his sister, Joan Marie Bastek of New Hampshire; his niece Shauna Brocato (Keith) and four great nieces and nephews.
He will be laid to rest in a National Cemetery of the family's choice at a later date.
