Robert M. Blakeslee's Obituary
Robert M. Blakeslee of Cape Coral, Florida passed away peacefully while under Hospice care on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 following some recent health challenges. He was 94 years old.
Robert was born in Niles, Michigan on September 5, 1926, the proud son to Hazel M. (Whiting) and Floyd C. Blakeslee. He was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army who later worked for the Post Cereal Company. Robert rose through the ranks at Post and made it a successful career until retiring from management as a supervisor. Robert was the devoted husband to to Verna J. Blakeslee and the couple moved to Cape Coral in 1981 to enjoy a sunny Florida retirement. Sadly, Robert was preceded in passing by Verna who died in 1994.
