Robert "Bob" Lewis Tompkins' Obituary
Robert “Bob” Lewis Tompkins, 75, of North Fort Myers passed peacefully from this life on July 27, 2022 with his loving family at his side. He was born on October 21, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Bob was a Member of Sons of the American Legion Post 336 and Moose Pine Island, Florida Lodge 1954. He Loved to Fish, hunt and spend time with Family, Friends and his Dogs.
He is survived by his wife Linda of 52 years; daughter Heather Marie Young (Les C. Young, Jr.); grandson Christian Lewis Young; sisters Colleen Isacson, Laura Johnson, Sharon (Lawrence) Tripp; brothers William (Bonnie) Tompkins and Theodore (Shelby) Tompkins all of North Fort Myers. Bob also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, his best friend Tim Moran of Kirtland, Ohio, and many other friends.
He was preceded in passing by his sister Gretchen Sanders, and parents William and Hazel Tompkins.
We will love and miss him forever and remember him in our hearts.
Graveside service and burial will be held on Friday, August 5th, 2022 at 11:00AM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd Fort Myers, FL 33908. A Celebration of Life will be held after the Service at 31 Produce/Cracker Shack Cafe.
Per Pop pop’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed for his grandson Christian Lewis Young, his pride and joy.
