Bob served his country with loyalty, including 4 years in the United States Airforce, followed by 30 years in the Air National Guard. His commitment to his country was evident through his strong leadership, recognition for his ingenuity in developing a new tool to improve aircraft safety, years served as Fabrication Section Supervisor, and promotion to Senior Master Sergeant rank.
Following his years of service, Bob’s life was full of quality time spent with his family including annual hunting trips to Grand Mountain (Tionesta, PA), trips across the country, and cruises across the Atlantic Ocean with his wife. During retirement, he moved to North Fort Myers, FL, and spent many years spoiling his grandchildren with trips to the beach, days at amusement parks, and treasured talks over ice cream. Bob was the absolute best storyteller with the most infectious laugh and smile. His faith was also a cornerstone of his life, and was a devoted member of the Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church of North Fort Myers.
