Robert “Bob” Louis Bochet, lately of Newark, DE, passed away on February 16, 2016, at age 65.Bob was born on November 3, 1950, in Newark, NJ, to Louis and Alice Bochet. He graduated from high school in Park Ridge, NJ, the University of New Haven, CT and had a long, successful career in the automotive industry.While a fearless skier, lifelong sports enthusiast and avid New York Yankees fan, Bob’s true passion was enjoying his children Jason and Sarah, whom he raised with Cheryl Bochet. Many will recall his immense pride, unconditional love and constant support for all of their endeavors.Bob was also a doting grandfather to Jason and Jaime’s son Ethan, loving brother to William (Barbara) and Larry (Suzanne), caring uncle to Laura and Allison, and Erik (Phuong Thao), Kurt (Christine) Schaubach and their children, and loving companion to Deborah Deubert. He was predeceased by his parents, sister and brother-in-law Janet and John Schaubach, and infant brother John.A celebration of Bob’s life will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, February 26, at the Trinka-Faustini Funeral Home, 439 Maywood Ave., Maywood, NJ.
