Robert Brown, Jr., 96, of Fort Myers, passed away Friday, May 15, 2009. He was born September 28, 1912 in Akron, OH and moved to Fort Myers in 1976. He was a U.S. Army-Air Corps Veteran of World War II and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.Mr. Brown is survived by his children: Patricia Hoss (Don), Joe Brown and Maggie Otis (Jim); three grandchildren: Laura, John Robert and Matthew and his great grandchildren: Darian, Marley, Holly, Joey and Andrew. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Harriet C. Brown in 2003.Mr. Brown was a Scotsman and a good and honorable husband and father whose guidance will be missed by his family, GLTAGGBB.A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice of Lee County, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
