Robert Alfred Casper Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Alfred Casper Sr., better known simply as "Bob" to his family and friends, a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, lost his battle with Advanced Parkinson's Disease on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. He passed peacefully surrounded by his wife and friends.
Bob was born June 30, 1942 in Pleasantville, New Jersey to Isaiah and Ida Casper. He and his wife of 56 years, Lynn Walker-Casper, retired to Fort Myers, Florida in November 2003. Bob lived a full life filled with joy. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Isaiah and Ida Casper. He is survived by his wife Lynn Walker-Casper; their two children Renée Patrick (Ernest) and Robert A. Casper Jr. (Beverley); grandchildren Jasmine Patrick, Miles Patrick, Samuel Casper, Mary Christina Casper; brothers Richard (Carol) and Claude Casper as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family members. He also leaves behind a number of others who proudly called him a friend and will greatly saddened by the loss of his company.
A Memorial Service for Bob will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 1, 2023 inside the Sanctuary at Cypress Lake United Methodist Church, 8570 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, Florida 33919, (239) 482-1250. All are welcome and encouraged to attend this memorial and testament to a life well-lived by a man of good conviction and strong faith.
