I stayed at the Amtel Hotel while working for the Boston Red Sox during the time Bob worked security there. Bob and I became friends and had many great conversations regarding his MA days among other topics. We also shared our love for cats. Bob got me started feeding the cats who lived in the parking garage. Bob was a great, great man who very kind, compassionate and always willing to help others. Bob was one of the best & longest friends I had. To gather with wife,s we went on many trips , assembled many toys , bikes etc till wee hours of Christmas am. Our times on the Forest Fire & regular Fire Departments , Saturday night ice cream parties & pizza from Vicks , Mens night Christmas shopping in Gloucester with George @ Jim , Having many laughs with Allan , & Yukki , A few cool ones @ Little Earls & Many parades out of town.The fire @ Eden road on a Saturday night , cold , snow & you stepped on Jake Perkios foot getting off the old 1927 La France.Bob , You are gone but your memories will live forever in my mind ,. This last summer when Bob and Anne came up, I will always treasure my time with Bob. The night of the all town reunion I had purchased a ticket to go. Anne called me and asked if I could stay with Bob while she and Rich went to Anne's family celebration in Salem. It was the same night as the reunion. I did not think twice about it. Rob and I would stay with Bob. We got subs and Rob went to pick them up. When he came back Rob tripped over Richies dog fence. The dinners stayed in the bag, my salad was tossed twice. I did not hear a thing and Bob said what was that noise? I looked out the window, ran out and picked up the dinner and my husband. Bob and I chuckled all evening as Rob kept wiping his knee with a paper towel. I could not get over Bobs hearing! We ate, and chuckled some more. I would not trade that evening for anything. I will always remember Bob until we meet again on the Big Morning! Love you Bob, May you rest in peace. Love and prayers to Anne and children and grandchildren. Marcia

Bob will always have a special place in my heart. As a child I was always happy to see home when he came home from work! He use call me schnookems and it always made me giggle ?? I was quite spoiled by Bob and Anne. The favorite story Bob liked to tell was about the time I was helping him in the garden. I was talking his ear off (as usual) and he accidently poured beer on the plant instead of water. ?? In most recent years I started receiving cute little things in the mail from him…comics and funny jokes as well as some old pictures of me, all of which made me smile. I was always excited to receive mail from Robert and Anne Doyle…just some small memories that I will hold onto forever. It is super hard to say goodbye, but I feel very blessed to have these memories to hold on to. Thank you for being a part of my life Bob. Though we didn't see each other often, I looked forward to seeing you and Anne every year! I will smile evertime I think of you! Until we meet again…
