I just happened to Google Dr Dresser and am saddened to learn of his passing.I grew up in Eaton and Doc was a big basketball fan,my brother happened to be a standout athlete and doc always asked me if I was going to be as good as my brother,well I always told him to come see and find out as he would just laugh gently and smile I don’t think doc ever charged us for any of the Ferriell kids visits.I often would think of him on family visits back to Eaton.The world was a better place because of him.

I just now saw this on the internet as I was searching for Bobby. I am completely saddened by this news and even though it was almost one year ago my thoughts and prayers are with the family who we're always like family to me.I'll never forget my first trip to Florida at age 16 with Doc and family. I will also never forget how doc Came to our house when my dad had cancer and looked out for him during his battle and Provided medicine time and time again free of charge for Dad. This is not the only story of course and I could tell you numerous similar ones to this one where doc reached out to help others that were in need.I'll never forget all the things you did for me. I was just thinking about you the other day when I was about 13 years old we were all in your car coming back from somewhere I told a stupid joke and you laughed for what seemed like five minutes straight. Your laugh was infectious and you genuinely cared about us kids.God didn't make too many good family men like yourself. I will always look up to the examples you set for us. I am sorry Patty that I could not be there during this time. All of the things I said above also pertain to you as well as you welcomed me into your home as one of your own. My prayers are with you and the rest of the family and I know for a fact that Doc is there with my own mom and dad and the Lord. they cherished him very much. Love and miss you guys Tim Waters

Bobby Dressler will always live in my memory. I was a few years younger that Bobby growing up and my Aunt Helen would always give us updates on him. As I grew up I tried to stay in touch with him. I have great memories of attending Bob and Patti's wedding as well as my visits to Eaton. I wish we could have spent more time together but life took us on different paths.I could go on with stories about his sense of humor, his wit, his charm, his compassion, his descriptive and well chosen vocabulary and other attributes… not to mention his intuitive sense of business management. My prayers are with Patti, his children and grandchildren. Bobby was my friend and advisor. I'm smiling thinking about Bobby and will always cherish the memories of my time with him. I took care of Mr. Dressler everyday, he was a very good and strong man, I also talked to his wife daily and shared stories with her, I had a great time getting to know both of them and I sit here at work and look at his old room and miss him a lot. As a cousin of Bob, we always enjoyed spending time with him. He was loving, caring and a wonderful storyteller. He had a great sense of humor!. Whenever family members asked for his advice , he most willingly and lovingly took the time to try and advise them. We were all so proud of his accomplishments . Bob and Patty visited several years ago,in Georgia. They were a beautiful couple who shared so many proud moments of their highly successful children.!I pray that in your time of sorrow you will find comfort under God's loving hand.You're all in my thoughts and prayers. Since I am a family member as Bob's first cousin from Youngstown, Ohio I can say his mother Helen Rochford Dressler and his father Bob Dressler were a wonderful couple and were so proud of their son Bob.
