Robert Elson's Obituary
Robert Lee Elson Sr., 87 of Fort Myers, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Born in Pineville, NC, he was the son of the late Earl Elson, Sr. and the late Maybelle Hackett Elson, brother of Jean Moore, Joanne Proffit and the late Earl Elson, Jr. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.He is survived by wife, Fran Elson with whom he was married to for 62 years and the devoted father of Diane, Denise, Debbie, Robbie, Kelly and Missi. He is the grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren all of whom will celebrate his life on Thursday, April 16, 2009, 6:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 2438 2nd St., Fort Myers. Donations and memorial gifts can be made in his name to First Presbyterian Church of Fort Myers.
