Robert H. Frith's Obituary
Robert H. Frith, (Whiskey), 82, of Fort Myers, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 following an extended illness. He was born November 26, 1934 in Hamilton, Bermuda to Fred and Violet (Shannon) Frith, who preceded him in death. While in Bermuda, he worked for the Royal Gazette Newspaper. In 1970, he moved to Florida. He retired in 1994 from the Fort Myers News-Press after 22 years of service as a supervisor in the engraving department.Mr. Frith is survived by his wife of 28 years, Ruth C. Frith; his children: Stephen Frith of Fort Myers, Catherine Morgan (Steve) of Nanuet, NY, Greg Frith (Terry) of Cape Coral, Glenn Frith (Amy) of Fort Myers, Shari Howington-Carlin (Jeff) of Fort Myers and Michelle Jurich (Adam) of Melrose, MA; his grandchildren: Bethany Petrik (Mike) of Block Island, RI, Gabrielle Reisner of Rhode Island, Ryan Reisner of Fort Myers, Zachary Jurich of Atlanta, GA, Kylyn Jurich of Kennesaw, GA, Riley Jurich of Kennesaw, GA, Cassidy Jurich of Kennesaw, GA, Kyle Learn of Chicago, IL, Ally Frith of Fort Myers, Piper Frith of Fort Myers and Jackson Frith of Fort Myers; his great grandchildren, Willa Petrik of Block Island, RI, Ivan and Stella Learn of Chicago and one great grandchild on the way. Also surviving is his brother, Ronald Frith (Jo) of Bermuda, several nieces and nephews and his special pets: Cricket and Tommy.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.
