Robert F. Jones' Obituary
Robert F. Jones, 87, passed away on July 18, 2019 after a short illness. Robert (Bob) was also known as “Bill” because he owned and operated Bill’s Fruit Market in Cape Coral for many years. He was formerly from Scranton, PA.He graduated from Dunmore High School and was a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a steamfitter by trade and held many positions in his lifetime. He ran for Congress in the 113th District. He was a man of many talents including a Master Carpenter who planned and built a fabulous home for his sister in Dunmore.Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie Haut and John Jones and also two brothers, John and David.
