Robert James Kuck's Obituary
Robert James Kuck, 80, of Fort Myers Florida, formerly of New York City, New York, passed away on Saturday July 12th, 2014.Robert was a victim of Alzheimer’s disease and all the ugly medical issues that go along with it.He is proceeded in death by his first wife, Dr. Maria Angeles Perez Kuck D.C. (He loved her so much, that he married her twice!)He is also predeceased by his first born son, Robert James Kuck Jr., and his late wife, of several years, Joyce Kuck.He is survived by his son, Fernando “Randy” (and Christine) Kuck of Vermont.He has two daughters who live in Florida. Maria (and Dennis) Soucy, and Maria Elena (and Robert) Provan.He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Kathy (Robert Jr) Kuck of Vermont.Robert leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind several close friends both young and old.Over the years, he became close to some of his late wife Joyce’s grown children. They reside in the upper New York state area.Robert was a long time employee of IBM. He thoroughly enjoyed working with them. He was intelligent, hardworking and loyal.Robert was good with a hammer and nails. He helped many people with ‘fix-it’ projects around their homes and property. He liked to travel, he enjoyed his little garden, and he always enjoyed the pool and walks on the beach.When he was younger, he went to Coney Island and Rockaway a lot. He and his friends like ‘hot’ cars, girls and swimming in the Hudson River. He spent endless hours and days with his brothers and sister and their families, as well and his own family, at picnics and parties. He and his wife (Maria) bought and sold ‘fixer-uppers’ throughout their years together. He really liked to laugh and have a good time when he was younger.The will be no calling hours.In place of flowers, please send a donation in his name to: The Alvin A.
