Robert Lee Moore's Obituary
Robert Lee Moore, 65, a longtime resident of Fort Myers, FL passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Fort Myers. He was born October 25, 1956 in Norfolk, VA to the late James and Dorothy Moore. Robert was a very truthful and loving family man. He worked as a service man for Garage Doors by Roy North for 35 years before retiring. He most enjoyed fishing in one of his three boats and taught his children and grandchildren how to become fishermen too. He also enjoyed camping with his family and friends and always brought everything you could ever need with him. Gardening was also something he enjoyed and was very good at growing vegetables, which he would share with everyone.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Connie Moore of Fort Myers; two children, Jennifer Rotz (James) and Steven Moore (Valerie) of Fort Myers; three siblings, Linda Moore (Daniels) of North Florida, James Moore (Betty) of Virginia Beach, VA, and Betty Ann Bozic of North Florida; five grandchildren, Taylor, Makayla, Ethan, Amanda and Justin; as well as many extended family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday July 2, 2022 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers, FL. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 9:30 AM until the service time at the funeral home.
