Robert Vercil Senseman, 61, a lifelong resident of Florida, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, in Fort Myers, FL. Born on December 2, 1963, in Fort Myers, he was the beloved son of the late Vercil and Lois (Heustad) Senseman.
Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served his country with honor and dedication. His love for mechanics and working on cars was well-known; he was a gifted mechanic and a true jack of all trades. His ingenuity and craftsmanship were reflected in his meticulous work, and he took great pride in every project he undertook.
Above all, Robert's greatest joy came from his family. He cherished the moments spent sharing stories and imparting wisdom to his children and grandchildren. His love, guidance, and unwavering support were the pillars of strength for his family, who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
Robert is survived by his two loving children, Ashley Ann Senseman of North Fort Myers, FL and Dalton Senseman of Lakeland, FL; three siblings, Sharon J. Powell and her husband, Jonny of Fort Myers, FL, Karen Griffis (Michael) of High Springs, FL and Vercil F. Senseman, Jr. of Fort Myers, FL; two adored grandsons, Levi and Jacob; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Robert's legacy will live on through his loved ones, as they continue to honor his life, values, and the lessons he imparted. His memory will forever be a source of inspiration and strength for all who had the privilege of knowing him.
