Robert L. Shank's Obituary
Robert L. Shank, 87, passed away May 14, 2013. He was born January 13, 1926 in Stateline, Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Ethel (Coble) Shank. He came to Clearwater to become a permanent Florida resident in 1978 after retiring as an entrepreneur and real estate developer in New Jersey. He came to reside in Lee County in March of this year from New Port Richey. Bob was a protestant and a Life Member of the Elks and the American Legion. He and his wife were long time members of the Clearwater Yacht Club and the Clearwater Country Club. He loved boating and golf. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 61 years, Joyce; daughters, Marla Davidson of Tampa, Florida and Debra Nagle and her husband Robert of Fort Myers; sons, Robert A. Shank and his wife Dorothy of Point Pleasant, New Jersey and James C. Shank and his wife Linda of Largo, Florida; brother, Charles F. Shank and his wife Wilma of Clearwater Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Meghan, Diana, David, Lory and Brian; great-grandchildren, Maggie, Andrew, Bella, Scott, Grant, Jake, Audrey and Bridget.
