Robert Alonzo Stappenbeck's Obituary
Robert Alonzo Stappenbeck, 71, a one year resident of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Canandaigua, NY passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 in Naples, FL. He was born in Rochester, NY on August 22, 1948 to the late, Elmer and Margaret Stappenbeck.
Robert attended Pamyra-Macidon highschool and Graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology. He was a life long car enthusiast, sports fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. During his later years, nothing brought more joy to him than talking about and spending time with his Grandchildren,which is ultimatley why he decided to move to back to Florida.
He is survived by his three loving children, Anthony Stappenbeck of Rochester, NY, Brittany Gamboa and her husband Rodrigo of Cape Coral, FL and Robert Peter Stappenbeck of Cape Coral, FL; one brother, Ronald Stappenbeck and his wife Janet of Macedon, NY; one sister, Sue Uihlein; three adored grandchildren, Emma, Junior and Logan Gamboa all of Cape Coral, FL; as well as many extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the First Baptist Church of Macedon, 58 W Main St, Macedon, NY 14502.
