Robert Paul Swenders, 72, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away unexpectedly on September 12, 2019. He was born to Edward Charles Swenders and Marion Winifred Hendricks (Swenders) on June 11, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan.Robert’s favorite hobbies included keeping his wife, Diane, happy, putting things together, and celebrating Christmas year round. He is of the Christian faith and moved here just 10 years ago from Michigan. He is preceded in death by both his parents.Mr. Swenders leaves behind his best friend, his wife, of over 10 years, Diane Swenders. He also leaves behind one brother, Richard Swenders of Ohio; two grandsons Paul Charles Swenders and Quincy Swenders; and four grandchildren.Final arrangements are entrusted with Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. 1589 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers, Florida 33907.
