Robert William Trabucco Sr's Obituary
Robert William Trabucco Sr., 74, a USMC Veteran and longtime resident of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on February 7, 2020 with his family at his bedside.
Robert a.k.a “Bob” was born in Newark, New Jersey to Nicholas Arthur Trabucco and Rose DeRose Trabucco on November 30, 1945. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1963 where he was a photographer during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rosanne Ricca Trabucco.
Also surviving is his mother, Rose DeRose Trabucco of Cape Coral and sister, Bonnie (James) Prosperi of NJ; son, Robert (Jean) Trabucco Jr. and daughter, Lisa Trabucco Dolan; Grandchildren, Malorie (Vincent) Saccomani, Madison Dolan and Makenzie Dolan; Great Grandchildren, Laena & Nico Saccomani and Gleny Brancacho all of Cape Coral and loving nieces and nephews.
Robert’s father, Nicholas Trabucco Sr. and brother, Nicholas Trabucco Jr. preceded him in death.
Robert remained an avid photographer and was the long-time president of the SWFL Photographic Society. He also enjoyed fishing and Nascar.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 12:00 PM until the service time at the funeral home. The United States Marine Corp will be presenting Military Honors following the service.
