Robert Francis Wallace's Obituary
Robert Francis Wallace, age 86, beloved husband and father died peacefully in his home in Fort Myers Florida surrounded by his family. He was born on February 28, 1935 in Windsor Locks, Ct. He was the son of Francis Edward Wallace and Helen Wallace (Meyers) . Robert was a graduate of Cathedral HS then attended San Francisco State College thereafter. Bob served in the US army during the Korean war. He married his wife Gloria Wallace in 1962.
Robert worked as an International Quality Assurance Manager for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft for many years which gave him the opportunity to travel the world. He was happiest on the golf course, spending time in his wood working shop and attending gatherings with family and friends. Bob was also a great storyteller down to the very finest detail. Bob was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his wife Gloria Wallace(Lefemine), son Mark Wallace and his wife Virginia Wallace and their son Fenton, a daughter Susan Wallace and her wife Pamela Bechard and their three sons Joseph, Jake, Jonathan, a daughter Deborah Dominguez her husband Yuri Dominguez and their children Connor, Sydney and Alex. Robert is also survived by his sister Gayle Lenda and her husband Ray Lenda.
A Memorial Mass for Robert will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 13060 Palomino Lane, Fort Myers, Florida 33912, (239) 561-2245.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Robert in a special way can donate in his honor to St Jude’s Children Hospital.
