Roderick L. Waddle's Obituary
Roderick L. Waddle, 53, rested and joined his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 27th 2019 after a 13th month battle of brain cancer. He was born April 1, 1965 in Danville, IN. He moved from Michigan to Southwest Florida in 1994 where he resided on a sailboat for many months before settling in Cape Coral, Fl. Rick enjoyed watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers football team, fishing and flying drones. He also loved being surrounded by his family and friends. He was a very skilled journey man plumber and worked for various companies for several years. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Lee Waddle; step father, Donald Combs; father-in-law, James C. Sowers; grandparents, Fran and Leo Kitchen, Bill and Mabel Reynolds, Elva and Roy Waddle; as well as his nephew, Michael Scott Perez.Rick is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Janine Marsden Waddle; two sons, Aaron Waddle (Sasha) of Mustang, OK and Bryan and Lisa Tobias of Tampa, Fl; his mother, Sandra Combs of Cape Coral, FL; sister, Tawnja Dove (Dennis) of Cape Coral, FL; his aunt Terri Bacca of Cape Coral, Fl. His brother, Michael Waddle (Vanessa) of Piketon, OH; four grandchildren, Blake and Derrick Waddle and Emma and Abby Tobias; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.A Memorial Service will be celebrated 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL 33907.Memorial contributions may be made to Cape Coral Hospice House, 2430 Diplomat Pkwy East.
