Roland M. "Butch" Eisenberg's Obituary
Roland M. Eisenberg, better known simply as “Butch” by his friends and family, of Fort Myers, passed away August 14, 2020 following a brief illness. He was 82 years old.
Butch was born September 3, 1937 in Steubenville, Ohio and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He owned and operated Car Washes in the Chicago area. In 1986 he moved to Fort Myers, FL with his wife Linda Mae Eisenberg and was an active member of Captiva Island Yacht Club. He was also active in the Gulf Harbour Community. When he was not boating or enjoying outdoor recreational activities in Southwest Florida, he also enjoyed traveling. Butch was a diehard booster of The Ohio State University and was an ardent fan of Buckeye Football and rarely missed the chance to watch a game.
Mr. Eisenberg is survived by his children, Rhonda Eisenberg Mandel of Chicago, Illinois and Andy Eisenberg (Marci) of Scottsdale, Arizona; his grandchildren, Travis Mandel (Katy), Taylor Abramowitz (Isaac), Lisa Skelnik (Justin) and Staci Eisenberg. He also leaves to cherish his memory his great-grandchildren Nora and Adam Mandel and his special companion Andrea “Andi” Elkes.
