Ron Dellaero's Obituary
Ronald A. Dellaero, 60, of Cape Coral, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2009. He was born October 17, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Cape Coral from Mount Kisco, NY in 1999.Ron’s life revolved around music. After moving to Cape Coral, he co-founded and was a vocalist for the Del Prados, a well known local Doo-Wop group.Left to cherish Ron’s memory is his loving wife of 11 years, Joanne; his son, Robert Dellaero of Bronx, NY; his two brothers, Raymond Dellaero (Linda) of Tampa and Thomas Dellaero (Janice) of Long Island; nephews: Jason, Paul, David and Kenny and his niece, Laurie, great nephews: Gavin, Christopher, Matthew, Jeffrey, James and William; great nieces: Emily and Elissa and a host of friends and fans.Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. Friends will be received from 5:00 PM until the time of the service.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice of Lee County, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908 or to the American Cancer Society.
