Ronald F. Cox (Ron), 81, of Oviedo FL, passed away Sunday, January 27th at Hope Hospice in his longtime hometown of Ft. Myers, FL. During his life, Ron started a successful dewatering company which he ran until his retirement. He Read Obituary
Sorry to hear about Ron’s passing. Leonard met him when they worked together in the 60’s in Orlando, and they became life long friends. We enjoyed many visits from Dania, Lk Placid to Ft. Myers . He was such a good host and made our visits special. So glad for the memories. Hoping Nancy, Ronnie. Renee and family can cope having such a wonderful husband ,father and grandfather leaving behind happy memories for them.

My condolences to you and your family. Ron, will truly be missed . He was one of the first cyclists that welcome me to the group many yrs ago. He made me feel like I belonged. Ron always has a big smile and was the first one to offer help. I’ll miss his stories and good conversation over the yrs. He made a difference in my life as a cyclist. Truly appreciate gentleman that will be missed.
Our condolences to you and your family..Ron was one of the first cyclists that I meet 15 yes ago. He greeted you with a big smile. He welcomed me to the group as I belonged. Always had great stories to tell . A true gentleman. I join the group all those years ago because if him. Just a short while ago, I would be riding in the opposite direction, see him and the group and turn around just to say hi and have a good conversation. He will be dearly missed.
My sincere condolences to the entire Cox Family. I was a member of the Caloosa Riders when Ron first joined the club. He seemed to enjoy the challenge of a good ride, treated others with respect, and was a friend to many. He will be missed!

Sorry to hear of your loss. Ron was one of the first Caloosa riders we met when we moved to the Cape in 2013. We rode together many times, and he will be missed.
