Ronald E. Kennedy, 78, of Cape Coral, devoted husband, beloved father and grandfather, went to his eternal rest on Tuesday, February 22, 2011.?áRonald was born February 1, 1933 in Rochester, New York to Mildred and Edward Kennedy.?á?á In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Beverly Ann. He attended John Marshall High School in Rochester until he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 1950.?áHe worked for Eastman Kodak Company, was an owner of a Hess Service Station and a retired deputy sheriff in West Palm Beach.?áHe will be dearly missed by his daughter Linda (Douglas) Ereg; 2 sons, Steven and Richard (Debbie); 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.?á There will be a visitation on Monday, February 28th from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.?áFuneral will begin at 11:00.?áInterment with military honors will be at 2:00 pm at the Sarasota National Cemetery.?á Online condolences may be made to www.fortmyersmemorial.com
