“Ronald L. Parker died peacefully at home in Fort Myers, FL on May 15, 2017 at the age of 81.Celebrating Ron’s life are his wife of 52 years, Hedy (Harvan) Parker, his children, Michele Parker Hosmer, Joseph Edward Parker, and Ellen Parker, his granddaughters, Olivia Emmalee Garneau and Alessandra Grace Hosmer, as well as his sons-in-law, Erik Hosmer and Paul Garneau, his firefighting brothers, many friends, business associates and others whose lives he touched during his many years of public service.Ron was a kind, generous, and hard-working man who never hesitated to give his help to someone in need.
