Ronald Peter Ouellett, 88, of Cape Coral, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019. He was born July 13, 1931 in Bronx, New York to Peter and Berthe (Routhier) Ouellet.Mr. Ouellett is survived by his wife, Joan Ellen Ouellett; his step-children (spouse): Marshall Aykroyd (Sandra), Lynne Basileo (Vincent), Russell Aykroyd (Patricia) and Randall Aykroyd (Cyndy). Loving grandfather of Jessica Perrello (Anthony), Brendan Aykroyd, Vincent P. Basileo, Christine Christian (Andrew), Jonathan Aykroyd, and great-grandfather of Catherine, Levi, and Abigail.Ronald served as an aircraft mechanic in the United States Air Force, honorably discharged as Staff Sergeant in 1955, was an active member, and Past Commodore, of NBS Boat Club and Cape Coral Power Squadron, where he also served as a Vessel Safety Inspector.A memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran/Epiphany Episcopal Church, 2507 Del Prado Blvd. S., Cape Coral, FL 33904 at 11:00 a.m., July 27. Interment will be at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m., July 31.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hope HealthCare, 13821 North Cleveland Ave., North Ft.
