Ronald J. ?Ç£Ronnie?Ç¥ Townsend, 45, of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away on October 5, 2011.?á Ronnie was born in White Castle, Louisana on June 6, 1966 , a son of James Ronald Townsend and JoAnn Burtoft Townsend.?á He was employed as a Sales Manager in the Air Conditioning business. Ronnie had resided in the Fort Myers area for the past 40 years. He was a Football coach with the Pop Warner Football Program and enjoyed boating, camping, ?ágolf and was an avid Miami Dolphin football fan and supporter.?á He is survived by his children, Somer (Austin) Hohnke of Wahiawa, HI, ?áAmber Townsend and Cierra Douglas both of Fort Myers, FL; ?áhis father, James R. Townsend of Felda, FL and his mother, JoAnn Shelquist of North Fort Myers, FL; his siblings, Robert (Mary) Townsend of Cape Coral, FL, Ryan (Sherri) Townsend of North Fort Myers, FL and Roxanne Brito of Tampa, FL.?á Several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service was held Monday, October 10, 2011 at Life Church, 11753 Plantation Rd., Fort Myers, FL.?á The family was assisted by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Fort Myers, FL.
