Ronald McCrindle Wharton's Obituary
Ronald McCrindle Wharton, 76, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away August 14, 2013. He was a native of Avoca, Pennsylvania, the son of Horace and Helen (Morton) Wharton.He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University and served in the U.S. Army in this country and Germany. He was a Boy Scout Executive in Pennsylvania prior to moving to Fort Myers in 1972. He owned and operated Snelling & Snelling Employment Agency and later owned Ardent Accounting.Survivors include his former wife, Sandra Wharton and his son, Lee M. Wharton, both of Fort Myers. He also leaves a brother, Dr. David Wharton (Mary) of Tampa, Florida; two nieces, Wendy Cloutier (Robert) of Arizona; Susan Schmitz (Cameron and children, Kaleigh and Ethan) of Tampa, Florida; and a nephew, David Wharton of Arizona.There will be a memorial service on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida 33907.Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
